Blueberry history
Originally wild blueberries grew on the property (bog) and some would come out and pick them. The blueberrry farm was first planted in the early 1960's and expanded in 1967. The first farmed blueberries originated in the early 60's as the Sunshine Farm, which is now the east field. Later in the 60's Leo repurchased the east field and expanded it to the west field as the Zabinsky Farm. The Dexter Blueberry Farm.
